Vancouver Canucks Officially in Pursuit of Minnesota Wild Star, Confirming the Rumor

American Sports writer and NHL insider Michael Russo disclosed some very encouraging information today, confirming the rumour between the Vancouver Canucks and Minnesota Wild Star forward Marco Rossi.
As the Vancouver Canucks solidified the rest of their coaching staff on Thursday, officially hiring Kevin Dean, Brett McLean and Scott Young as Assistant Coaches to help new head coach Adam Foote, there is still a lot of work to do for General manager Patrik Allvin.
"The coaching search was a very thorough process as we wanted to find the best fit for our hockey club. Once Adam was hired, we set out on selecting a team of assistant coaches who are good teachers, good communicators, and good people. Footey has done a great job in assembling a well-rounded staff with a strong mix of experience and position specific expertise. I am excited to watch this group come together and am ready to support them in every way I can to help them prepare for the upcoming season." Allvin said.
Report Confirms the Rumour between the Vancouver Canucks and Marco Rossi
Ever since Rossi made some pretty questionable comments criticizing Bull Guerin and the Wild for the role they had him playing, rumours started to develop that his time with the team was coming to an end.
One of the main front runners from the beginning have been the Canucks, but it was never confirmed.
Now, that has all changed as Sports Writer Michael Rosso confirmed the rumour on Sportsnet 650 today that Patrik Allvin and Vancouver have an extreme interest in acquiring Rossi this offseason.
"I hear through really good sources that Vancouver really likes Marco (Rossi) and is very interested in Marco."
