The Calgary Flames have not started the season the way they hoped to, on the bright side Nazem Kadri has been producing on a team that lacks offence, however that has led him to being in the middle of a lot of trade rumours, and the Vancouver Canucks are a potential landing spot for him.

The Canucks desperately need a 2nd line center, and Kadri could fill that role as good as anyone.
"The Vancouver Canucks have been on the look out for center help since June, as Patrik Allvin was seeking someone who could fill the second line role that was left by J.T. Miller after his trade to the New York Rangers."-Jaxon

Kadri heavily linked to trade with Canucks.

Daniel Lucente of Hockey Latest reported on the possibility of Kadri finding himself on his Pacific Division rival Vancouver Canucks. It's a trade that makes sense for the Canucks, as it is the biggest gap on their team right now.
"The Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens are two other clubs said to be considering top-two centre options, and both would be more realistic trade partners, seeing that they aren't on Kadri's no-trade list, especially now that Carolina doesn't appear to be in the mix anymore."-Lucente

The Canadiens who are off to a terrific start this season, are also in search for a 2nd line center. It is the one thing holding them back from being a true Stanley Cup contender. However if Kadri doesn't work out there still remains one realistic option left for this season.
"Insider Nick Kypreos added that Vancouver and Montreal's search doesn't stop with Kadri. Both teams have also shown interest in Boston's Pavel Zacha, who's off to a strong start and has one year left on his current deal."-Lucente

The Canucks need to make a move and quick, because their season is going to get out of hand fairly soon if they keep this up.
