Elias Pettersson left off important social media post
With a career low in points and a highly publicized rift with former teammate J.T. Miller, Pettersson has become a big distraction for the management and player within the locker room.
Regardless of this being indicative of his future, the Canucks' PR team does not do itself any favors in putting a stop to speculation.
A social media post campaigning for the 2025-2026 season ticket sales is now going viral for all the wrong reasons.
Usually, as all teams do, the standard decision is to put the core players on the poster, but naturally they left off Brock Boeser, who will be testing free agency.
The real head scratcher is that amid all the rumors, the also decided to leave off goalie Thatcher Demko and superstar Elias Pettersson, only adding fuel to the fire that this post is leaking both the players fate with the team.
But because Boeser is leaving it makes sense, but to leave off the other two really seems like a poor decision in a market that already has a habit of stirring drama and taking things out of context.
Only time will tell if this poster actually is indicative of the future for these two stars with the Canucks.
