DRAFT UPDATE | Mayhem at the draft as the first six picks are in
The NHL Draft is on at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. While it was a formality to see Connor Bedard walk first on the stage the next 4 picks have caused a stir.
Adam Fantilli was previewed to be the 2nd overall pick and he ended up going 3rd to Columbus since the Ducks chose the Swede Leo Carlsson.
The Sharks took the small American Will Smith and the Canadiens passed over on Matvei Michkov and selected the player who is meant to be this draft's top defenseman, David Reinbacher. The Coyotes then went with the big-format Dmitri Simashev.
The Flyers are about to take the stage and Matvei Michkov is still on the board. If he slides all the way down to the Canucks, should they pick him?
