In an unfortunate sequence, Tanner Pearson and Drew Doughty were skating along each other toward the Kings' defensive zone, and the star defenceman weirdly fell. Doughty had to be helped off the ice:
A vital part of the Kings' defence, Drew Doughty could jeopardize Los Angeles' whole game plan. Although he's already 34, Doughty has been a driving force for the Kings' blueline, and losing him for a lengthy period will put them in a tough spot.
The veteran defenceman led the Kings' defenceman with 50 points and some very strong two-way games. Doughty has never been known for his injury, but his lack of history and his ''advanced'' age places them in a tough spot.
