Elliotte Friedman updates on Thatcher Demko's Injury: Canucks are concerned

Amid the uncertainty surrounding Thatcher Demko's injury status, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has offered some reassurance for Canucks fans.
According to Friedman, there's no sense of panic within the organization regarding Demko's health. While his availability for the start of the regular season is definitely in question, Friedman doesn't believe Demko is facing an extended absence that would sideline him for half the season or longer.
However, it's hard to ignore Demko's recent injury history. Last season alone, he missed four separate stretches, including 12 playoff games and a 14-game regular season absence. Injury issues have plagued him since entering the NHL, making it critical that the Canucks handle this situation with care.
The last thing Vancouver needs is for Demko to be rushed back before he's fully healed. As Friedman points out, the risk of recurring injuries is a real concern, especially for goaltenders. Many goalies who return too soon from injury often find themselves stuck in a cycle of setbacks, something the Canucks can't afford with their star netminder.
While there's no immediate panic, the Canucks will have to walk a fine line between getting Demko back in action and ensuring his long-term health. After all, the team's success this season largely depends on him being at his best when it matters most.
