Insider delivers an important update on Thatcher Demko's timeline
Thatcher Demko's been watching the Canucks from the sidelines since the end of the team's first playoffs game. Everybody panicked for an instant, but Arturs Silovs' impressive tenure since he took over calmed the crowds.
It was revealed that there was hope amongst Canucks management that Demko could be returning in the second round. The netminder has shown progression, but the latest information from Frank Seravalli suggested that Demko would not see live game action before game six or seven if it even goes there:
.@frank_seravalli (@DailyFaceoff) on Thatcher Demko's potential return:
"He hasn't begun taking shots yet...they're not letting him drop to his knees. They're hoping that could possibly happen in the next few days...Game 6 or 7? #Canucks
For now, Arturs Silovs and the Canucks have managed to keep Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl in line. Will they keep up their play through the next two games in Edmonton? Will the Canucks' offence manage outplay the Oilers and find the back of the net more?
