Per Allvin's announcement, Mikheyev hurt his ACL way back in September. The medical staff had been prepping him to play on one knee on a nightly basis since then. He proceeded to announce that his season was over and that he'd be back for training camp.
Mikheyev shared his feelings after the game, obviously he meant to play the entirety of this season. Last night, the winger registered his 100th career point when he scored the Canucks' third goal.
Mikheyev has been a true force registering 28 points through 46 outings, he was on pace for 22 goals and 48 points. His injury will open a roster spot, will the Canucks recall Vasily Podkolzin who's been good in Abbotsford?
