It's been reported that the Canucks just put a new offer on the table that was rejected by the Canucks' star centerman. The offer is believed to be just under $8M/year, had Horvat accepted the offer, Canucks still would've had major cap issues to deal at the of the present campaign.
According to the advance stats that The Athletic have put forward, Horvat's value as of today, would be around $8.8M.
They even announced that moving forward, the Canucks' would be looking to take the best (trade) offer for their centerman. Looking back, did they make the right call when they decided to sign J.T. Miller first?
