MAJOR | Insider drops bombshell regarding Andrei Kuzmenko and Flames star player
The Canucks have been linked to numerous forwards in the latest weeks. They had identified their needs as a versatile forward that could play both on the wing and down the middle and the Calgary Flames may have exactly what they ordered, again.
ANNOUNCEMENT COMING: TALKS ARE PICKING UP
Elliotte Friedman just dropped a bombshell on social media when he reported that the talks between the Canucks and the Flames had intensified:
'There is word tonight talks between Vancouver and Calgary are intensifying around Elias Lindholm. We will see where it goes.'' Moments later, Kevin Weekes corroborated the news Friedman dropped and even revealed that Andrei Kuzmenko would be a part of the package ultimately bringing Elias Lindholm to the Canucks.
'With the @Canucks that could include Lindholm from @NHLFlames
#Flames for Kuzmenko and some other pieces.''
We'll be keeping you posted on the latest developments regarding these talks. Lindholm, a 29-year-old Swede, is about to hit free agency. It's worth noting that his cap hit is the same as Kuzmenko's.
A big-bodied, right handed centerman, Lindholm is coming off seasons in which he collected 82, 64 and 32 in 49. Weekes hinted that the trade could be involving other pieces, could Tanev also be a part of it?
