MAJOR | Flames have made a new hire: Anything to accentuate the rivalry with the Canucks
The matchups between the Flames and the Canucks are always hard-battled rivalries; that rivalry even transpires to the team's farm club. Especially after the Abby Canucks and the Calgary Wranglers fought in last year's playoff.
The Flames made an announcement that will only spice things up in this existing rivalry:
''We are pleased to announce that Trent Cull has been named as our new head coach! 🔥''
Cull was part of Bruce Boudreau's staff that was let go when Rick Tocchet and his crew took over. He spent the better parts of 6 seasons within the Canucks organization, mainly as the Head Coach with the AHL team.
