LATEST | Canucks goalie prospect awarded for stellar play
Abbotsford Canucks goaltending prospect Jonathan Lemieux has been acknowledged as the ECHL's Goalie of the Week with the Kalamazoo Wings.
The 22-year old Québec native posted a stellar 1.00 GAA and whopping .968 save percentage across two victories. He paces the ECHL with 13 wins in his first season in the league.
Lemieux spent 2022-2023 at Concordia University, and spent 2017-2022 in the QMJHL between Val d'Or, Saint John, and Moncton. He signed a one-year contract with the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks � Vancouver's affiliate � prior to this season.
