LATEST | NHL issues an official announcement postponing a game
The Wednesday night matchup between the Buffalo Sabres and the Chicago Blackhawks at KeyBank Arena has been postponed. The game will instead take place on Thursday night, at 7 p.m. ET. This is due to travel restrictions in the Buffalo area.
Buffalo has been hit with severe weather such as heavy snowfall over the past several days, postponing the Buffalo Bills' playoff clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers as well.
Buffalo, 7th in the Atlantic, sits at 19-21-4 through 44 games. Chicago, 8th in the Central and 31st in the NHL, sit at 13-29-2 and are currently missing rookie phenom Connor Bedard due to a broken jaw.
