LATEST | Former Canuck formally announces his retirement
The announcement was recently made that the former Canuck Brandon DeFazio had chosen to retire after 14 years of professional hockey.
DeFazio had a two seasons stint within the Canucks' organization, during which he had the opportunity to play two NHL games. The former player will mainly be remembered for his contribution to the Utica Comets during the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 when he collected 77 points in 151 AHL games:
DeFazio's career will be marked with two NHL games, 435 AHL games and a few years in Europe. After spending the 2022-2023 campaign with the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the DEL (Germany's top hockey league), he retires.
