The Canucks' development camp is underway, and many prospects are trying to give the best impressions. The Canucks traded Riley Stillman to the Buffalo Sabres, and in return, they acquired one of the top players in the OHL this season, Josh Bloom.
Bloom is amongst the prospects participating in the team's development camp. Drafted in 2021, it's not the first camp he which he was given the opportunity to participate, and it's why the comments he held for the organization and the city means a lot:
Bloom was the Sabres' selection in the 3rd Round of the 2021 Draft. The forward collected 71 points in 68 OHL games this year. Already signed his entry-level contract, the forward is expected to start the season in the AHL with the Abbotsford Canucks.
