The Canucks have been rolling since the season started, and they have their star players to thank for it. Pettersson, Hughes, Boeser, Kuzmenko, Hronek and even J.T. Miller have all been great and they have an 11-3-1 record it show for it.
Before the season started, there had been massive concerns regarding J.T. Miller's ability to truly lead and drive a line down the middle. Mainly viewed as a winger upon his arrival in Vancouver, there was doubt that he could fill the role. That doubt has been erased and the recent comments from the Canucks colour announcer Ray Ferraro only prove it.
Miller's been outstanding in every facet of his game ever since Rick Tocchet took over. At both ends of the ice, in every situation, from the power play to the penalty kill, he's done it all:
Currently occupying the league's third spot in scoring, Miller has been a force ever since the Canucks acquired. He's now entered the first year of a deal that will tie him to the Canucks for years to come and it looks like he's intending on proving that he's worth every single penny.
