General manager Patrik Allvin and the Vancouver Canucks have had few victories to celebrate lately, especially after such a disappointing season.

Although Allvin's free agency track record isn't flawless, he's made more successful signings than misses in his first three offseasons with the Canucks.

Here's a list of free agents that Allvin and the Canucks could target when they become available on July 1.

Trevor Beggs from the Daily Hive writes that in 2023, the Canucks signed Pius Suter to a two-year contract with an annual value of $1.6 million. A year later, they added Kiefer Sherwood on a two-year deal at $1.5 million per season and brought in Kevin Lankinen on a one-year contract worth $875,000.
"While Allvin's work in free agency hasn't been perfect, but he's hit more often than not during his first three free agent frenzies with the Canucks." -Beggs

The Canucks have been intrigued by Jack Roslovic since his days with the Winnipeg Jets, and with him now headed for unrestricted free agency, it's possible they'll circle back and explore that interest again.
Roslovic has shown he can be a reliable middle-six option with the versatility to play both centre and wing. He's also proven he can keep up with elite talent, spending much of this season alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov. While his defensive game leaves something to be desired, Vancouver's bigger need right now is offensive depth.
Roslovic recorded 39 points (22 goals and 17 assists) in 81 games this season.
After a breakout 28-goal campaign in 2022-23, Victor Olofsson saw his production plummet to just seven goals with the Sabres in 2023-24. However, after inking a one-year deal with Vegas last offseason, the 29-year-old bounced back closer to his usual form, hovering around a half-point-per-game pace. Nothing like escaping the Buffalo Sabres to revive a player's career.
Roslovic recorded 29 points (15 goals and 14 assists) in 56 games.
Alex Kerfoot has shown impressive consistency over his eight-year NHL career, recording 10 or more goals in six different seasons.
"Could the Canucks bring the North Vancouver native home? His versatility between wing and centre would also benefit a Canucks team that has major questions down the middle." -Beggs

Kerfoot recorded 28 points (11 goals and 17 assists) in 81 games this season.
Although Adam Gaudette was pushed out of the Canucks during their COVID-shortened 2021 North Division season, that decision was made under a previous management group.
"Since leaving the Canucks, Gaudette has played in five different organizations, but he re-cemented his status as a full-time NHLer with the Ottawa Senators this season. He did tail off offensively after a hot start, but scoring nearly 20 goals in a fourth-line role is nothing to scoff at." -Beggs

Gaudette recorded 26 points (19 goals and 7 assists) in 81 games this season.
After joining the Calgary Flames on a one-year prove-it deal last offseason, Anthony Mantha backed it up over 13 games by displaying both physicality and scoring ability, until a torn ACL abruptly ended his season.
"There will be concerns about a soon-to-be 31-year-old coming off of such an injury, but that also means he could be found for a bargain in free agency." -Beggs

Mantha recorded 7 points (4 goals and 3 assists) in 13 games this season.
