Arturs Silovs made a name for himself with his latest playoff tenure against the Nashville Predators and the Edmonton Oilers, other NHL teams have taking notice.

The young Latvian Netminder is bound to hit free agency as a restricted free agent. While the Canucks are in possession of his rights, it doesn't mean that the other 31 franchises are prohibited to go after. Silovs is a prime offer sheet candidate, given his age, the potential he's shown and the fact that he's in line to sign a near league minimum contract.

Frank Seravalli talked about the potential disaster it could mean for the Canucks and why they needed to address the Silovs' situation as soon as possible.

Is Arturs Silovs an offer sheet candidate?!

@frank_seravalli explains some chatter he's heard about the #Canucks' offseason approach potentially impacting Arturs Silvos' future:

"You might want to get on your horse & get a deal done."

After Silov's playoff performance, he surpassed Casey DeSmith in the Canucks' goaltending depth chart and it meant that he was a clear lock to form a tandem with the Vézina Finalist, Thatcher Demko.

Now that extensions have already been issued to two players, the Canucks still have nine contracts to renew or perhaps replace.
