Frustrated Canucks Fan Publicly Confronts Team Owner Francesco Aquilini Outside Rogers Arena With Strong Words

A video has been circulating on social media that shows a fan of the Vancouver Canucks heckling team owner Francesco Aqulini outside of Rogers Arena.
The 2024-25 season was a tough year for the entire Vancouver Canucks organization from the ownership group, led by Francesco Aquilini, down to the front office, coaching staff and of course, the players.
Vancouver Canucks fans haven't been too happy with Francesco Aquilini in the last little while and one supporter made his thoughts known to the team owner this week.

In a video posted to social media on Thursday, a fan in their vehicle was seen yelling at Francesco Aquilini, who was walking outside of the team's rink, Rogers Arena.
"Yo, sell the team! Sell the team!" the fan could be heard saying.
Sure, it's completely understandable to be frustrated with the state of the team and Francesco Aquilini for some of the decisions he's made in recent years, including the auctioning off of Alexander Ovechkin jerseys, but there's a different way to go about this in order to show your anger and disappointment.
Some fans in the comment section of the video posted to X seemed to agree with that, calling out the heckler.
"I agree aquillini is a bad owner but yelling this from a car is classless" @theschmaff said.
"You should have went out of the car and said it to his face" @Crispycanuck01 said.
"I'd be really embarrassed to post this.

The best way to show the owner that fans want change is to stop showing up to games, as well as to stop purchasing merchandise, food and beverages at Rogers Arena.
All of those ways above will take a hit at Francesco Aquilini's pocket book and maybe then he would consider selling a stake in the team or his entire share of the Vancouver Canucks.
For now, it looks like Francesco Aquilini is sticking around and fans will have to use those methods mentioned above if they want to see any change in the years ahead.
