'Little Things' - Head Coach Rick Tocchet Gets Candid About Vancouver Canucks Defenseman Noah Juulsen
Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet gave major praise to his teams defense for overcoming the clear obstacles they are facing.
It has not been an easy go for the Vancouver Canucks in the defence department the last few weeks, and even more so with Filip Hronek set to be out for a length anoint of time with a shoulder injury.
Rick Tocchet was forced to use the personel that he has, giving Noah Juulasen and Vincent Desharnais more prevalent roles.
Juulsen played 17:03 for the Canucks, including 3:40 on the penalty kill. Juulsen's penalty kill time was second on the Canucks only to Tyler Myers. While Juulaen did not record any big goals or assists during the team win against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, he made uo for it with putting his body in the line, and being a reliable defender.

Juliane has been in and out of the lineup all season long, but now, he is getting a more prominent role, potential rally even playing along side Quinn Hughes in the top pairing next game.
Head coach Rick Tocchet was pleased about what he saw in general out of his teams defence, especially out of how Juulsen sacrifices his body.
Juulsen blocks three shots. A couple of guys with a good stick, where if their stick is not in the lane, it's in the net. These are the moments I look at, pressure moments."
I look at the little things. When you accumulate all the little things, that's a good thing," Tocchet concluded.
It will be interesting to see Juulsen get his first shot with real minutes, he may surprise us, which will be greatly accepted due to all of the absences.
