The Vancouver Canucks have been forced to make some big changes to their lineup tonight as they begin a four-game homestand against the Utah Mammoth.

After a fairly poor road trip that saw them win just one of four games, the Vancouver Canucks are back at home tonight as they welcome the Utah Mammoth to Rogers Arena for the first of two times this season, the other coming in early April.
Injury issues continue to pile up for the Vancouver Canucks, resulting in the club to make a handful of roster moves this week, including on Thursday with defenseman Elias Pettersson and goaltender Nikita Tolopilo coming back up to the NHL, the latter under emergency conditions.
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that G Jiri Patera has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL), D Elias Pettersson has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) and G Nikita Tolopilo has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) under emergency conditions." the Canucks said on X.

When meeting with reporters after the team's optional morning skate, Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote announced that forward Evander Kane and Pierre-Olivier Joseph, who have been battling the flu for the past few days, are unlikely to suit up tonight.
Foote also shared that Conor Garland will return to the lineup against Utah after missing the final two games of their road trip with an undisclosed injury, while Kevin Lankinen is set to get the start between the pipes.
"Per Adam Foote, Conor Garland is in tonight. PO Joseph and Evander Kane are unlikely to play. Kevin Lankinen starts." Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 said.
With Conor Garland back in and both Evander Kane & Pierre-Olivier Joseph set to sit out this evening's clash with the Mammoth, here are Vancouver's projected lines according to NHL.com.
