Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote has given an encouraging injury update regarding a pair of players as the team embarks on a five-game road trip.

The Vancouver Canucks will begin their second-longest road trip of the 2025-26 season on Thursday night against the Dallas Stars and after a subpar start to the year thus far, Adam Foote's group are hoping to turn things around in a big way.
Through three games, the Canucks sit 13th in the Western Conference standings with one win, eight goals for and nine goals against, but, it looks like there is some relief on the way with two injured players getting closer to a return to game action.

When speaking with the media on Tuesday, Adam Foote confirmed that defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph and forward Teddy Blueger will accompany the team on their road trip starting tomorrow.
"Adam Foote says PO Joseph and Teddy Blueger will go on the trip. #Canucks" Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet said.
Joseph, a former first round pick of the Arizona Coyotes, joined the Canucks as an unrestricted free agent in early July signing a one-year, two-way deal at league minimum after not being issued a qualifying offer by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Laval, Quebec native had a good start to his training camp and was a shoe in to make the team's opening night roster, potentially even in line for his Canucks debut on October 9th, however, he sustained an undisclosed injury in late September and was placed on injured reserve.
As for Teddy Blueger, he suffered an injury during the Canucks' preseason finale on October 3rd and was initially deemed out for just a week, but 12 days later and he still hasn't been able to suit up in game action.
Adam Foote told reporters that Teddy Blueger is close to returning to the lineup, but couldn't confirm if he would make his season debut on Thursday night in the Lone Star State against the Dallas Stars.
Puck drop for tomorrow night's game in Dallas is set for 5 p.m. PT and can be viewed nationally across Canada on Sportsnet One.
