As the Vancouver Canucks have made it clear that they will not be able to re-sign Brock Boeser due to both parties being way off on a contract, a list of replacements have just been made clear.

During this years free agency where general manager Patrik Allvin showcased one of the worst performances ever, , it was highlighted by the fact that former 40-goal scorer Brock Boeser was not traded away even though they are unlikely to sign a extension.
With out an extension in place, the likelihood of Brock Boeser leaving the Canucks organization is extremely high, and the next step for Allvin is to figure out how to replace him.

Vancouver Canucks potential replacements for Brock Boeser

On top of not being able to come to an agreement, after the trade deadline concluded, Allvin had some pretty controversial comments about Boeser's value in the NHL being the reason for a trade not coming to fruition.
While the most notable name the free agent market is Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Mitch Marner, it is unlikely the Canucks will compete for a contract, which leaves a set of names that will most likely be the options for Vancouver.
According to the Daily Hive, there are a bunch of names that make sense for the Canucks to target, but one name sticks out the most.
Top pending UFA wingers (listed by team, in alphabetical order):
Anthony Mantha (Calgary Flames)
Taylor Hall (Carolina Hurricanes)
Jack Roslovic (Carolina Hurricanes)
Ryan Donato (Chicago Blackhawks)
Jonathan Drouin (Colorado Avalanche)
Jamie Benn (Dallas Stars)
Evgenii Dadonov (Dallas Stars)
Mikael Granlund (Dallas Stars)
Patrick Kane (Detroit Red Wings)
Brad Marchand (Florida Panthers)
Kyle Palmieri (New York Islanders)
Claude Giroux (Ottawa Senators)
Mitch Marner (Toronto Maple Leafs)
Brock Boeser (Vancouver Canucks)
Reilly Smith (Vegas Golden Knights)
Andrew Mangiapane (Washington Capitals)
Nikolaj Ehlers (Winnipeg Jets)

Although older by a few years (29), Nikolaj Ehlers has vastly outperformed Boeser on all front this season.
Scoring 21 goals and 57 points in 59 games this season, it has no marked his 8th season surpassing the 20-goal marker.
On top of that, Ehlers' legs seem a lot fresher in every sense, ranking in the 94th percentile in the league for top skating speed.
Due to his elite speed and consistent offensive output, Ehlers is a greater threat in every way, especially in transition where the Canucks lack greatly.
While Boeser has the ability to score 40+ goals a season, Ehlers has easily matched or even surpassed his output more often that Boeser, which would make him a strong replacement for the player they will most likely lose int he offseason.
