It is no secret that the Vancouver Canucks would like to add a lot more fire power to their lineup for the 2025-26 season, and one of their top free agent targets has
narrowed down his list to two NHL teams.
Throughout the summer, Canucks GM Patrik Allvin as tasked to fill in the holes that caused that caused them to miss the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
In today NHL, injuries are a rampant and hard issue for teams to navigate around, and as a result, you can never have too much depth, especially when your are trying to make a run.
While it's certainly possible the Canucks could get something done with Roslovic in the near future, the front office is keeping their options open and another name has emerged as a potential fit for Evgeny Kuznetsov

There hasn't been a lot of chatter around Kuznetsov's return to the NHL since late July, a new report on Saturday has indicated that the 33 year old forward has narrowed his list down to two teams, and the Canucks are no longer in the running.

Even at his age, his game has not slowed down one bit.
In his first season in the KHL since 2013-14, Kuznetsov was solid, registering 37 points (12 goals, 25 assists) in 39 games, but after being elimination in the Gagarin Cup Playoffs, SKA St. Peterburg underwent a slew of changes.
