The Vancouver Canucks have officially announced their opening night roster for the National Hockey League's 2025-26 season, which gets underway on Tuesday at 2 p.m. PT.

In just three days, the Vancouver Canucks will begin their quest back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they open the 2025-26 campaign against the Calgary Flames, with Adam Foote's squad beginning the season with three games in five nights, including a Thanksgiving matinee versus St. Louis.
Earlier on Monday, Vancouver Canucks fans received confirmation that 2025 first round pick Braeden Cootes will begin the season in the National Hockey League after a standout training camp.
"I had the chance to talk to him during one of the drills today and he was just excited, as you'd expect. He also stood out today. He had a really good day. Getting on pucks and he's obviously smart and creative in some of the drills. So he's not just out here excited to be here, he's here to make an impression and he's done that through the first two days." Vancouver Canucks Assistant Coach Brett McLean said earlier in camp.

Just two hours before needing to submit their roster to the National Hockey League, the Vancouver Canucks officially unveiled who will be suiting up for them at the start of the 2025-26 season.
