The Vancouver Canucks have decided to shake up their forward lines at practice on Wednesday morning, one day before the club hosts the Dallas Stars at Rogers Arena.
After a somewhat productive road trip, picking up three of a possible six points, including a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Vancouver Canucks have returned to BC for a brief two-game homestand against the Dallas Stars on Thursday and Calgary Flames on Sunday.
Adam Foote's group are coming off an 8-5 loss to the Florida Panthers on Monday and at practice today emphasized the need for everyone to start picking it up on the defensive side of the puck.
"You gotta fucking defend hard." Foote said according to Trevor Beggs of Daily Hive.

As the Canucks hit the ice at Rogers Arena today there was a welcome sight as Conor Garland, who left Sunday's game and didn't play Monday in Florida was a full participant in practice, according to Jeff Paterson of Rink Wide: Vancouver.
"Conor Garland an active participant in #Canucks practice this morning" Paterson said.
With Garland now back in the mix, Adam Foote used his return as an opportunity to shake things up among their forward group, with the top line of Evander Kane, Elias Pettersson and Kiefer Sherwood the only one to remain in tact from Monday's loss to the Panthers.
Recently signed forward David Kampf comes up to the second line and was skating alongside Brock Boeser and Conor Garland, while Jake DeBrusk, Aatu Raty and Drew O'Connor made up the team's third line.
Lukas Reichel remained on the fourth line today, skating with Max Sasson and Linus Karlsson, with Mackenzie MacEachern & Arshdeep Bains on the outside looking in.
Despite throwing his forward lines in a blender on Wednesday, the Canucks' defensive pairings remained the same, which comes as a bit of a shock after the club allowed eight against Florida two nights ago.
Quinn Hughes is with Filip Hronek, Marcus Pettersson and Tyler Myers are together, with Elias Pettersson and Tom Willander rounding things out on the third pairing.
