The NCAA is known to offer a different path to young men, and it is also known to have a strict no-fighting rule. And last night, the rule was broken most violently.

Alaska Fairbanks and Arizona State were facing off. Two players had a lot to settle, and at the very moment they got out of the penalty box, they made sure to leave it out all there:

The ASU's number 10, Tucker Ness, is a 6'03'' and 220 pounds sophomore. He's mainly known for the physicality he brings to the game. In his last USHL season, he was granted 139 penalty minutes in 60 games. It's fair to say it wasn't his first time getting into a scrum.

On the other side was Dawson Bruneski, 5'11' and 200 pounds Senior, who was quite the bruiser back in his AJHL days when he had three seasons with at least 80 penalty minutes. He'd been quite ever since he made the jump to the NCAA, up until last night.
