A New Team Has Entered The Jakob Chychrun Sweepstakes!

We're getting down to the wire when it comes to the NHL trade deadline. One of the most highly coveted players teams are calling about is, the Arizona Coyotes defenceman Jakob Chychrun.

The Coyotes have been rumored to be trying to trade Chychrun since last season however it wasn't official until he asked for a trade due to frustrations over the Coyotes constant rebuilds.

The Coyotes have had plenty of team's interested, but still haven't made a deal with less then two weeks to go until deadline day. According to NHL Trade Rumors the Calgary Flames have now put their names in the hat to try to acquire the 24 year-old defenceman.

The Flames have underachieved this season after making some big moves, trading for Jonathan Huberdeau and signing Nazem Kadri, the Flames are still hoping to make the playoffs. Adding Chychrun to a already solid lineup, the Flames could possibly do some damage in the playoffs.
