The Vancouver Canucks already made a splash ahead of the NHL trade deadline day, moving their captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders for Anthony Beauvillier, prospect Aatu Raty and a top-12 protected first-round pick.

But the Canucks don't looked to be finished making some changes to help improve for next season, with rumours of Tyler Myers, Luke Schenn to be on the move before trade deadline day. Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli has revealed that the Pittsburgh Penguins have shown interest in acquiring Canucks star forward Brock Boeser.
Boeser hasn't been the same player since the unfortunate passing of his father, a change of scenery could do both Boeser and the Canucks good. The bright side for the Penguins or anyone else who acquires Boeser's services is he's signed until the end of the 2024-25 season at just $6.5 million annually.
