Things are getting real spicy in St Louis, after Thursday night's 3-2 overtime loss to the Vancouver Canucks, Blues head coach Criag Berube insulted his players during post game interviews saying:
"Our best players don't play with any passion emotion or no inspiration at all. They don't play inspired hockey. You can not play in the League without any emotion or grit or being inspired. They're getting paid a lot of money and they're not showing up, they're not doing the job. End of story that's it that's what it boils down to."
One of the Blues top players and leaders forward Robert Thomas obviously didn't appreciate his coaches comments and would reply on social media saying;
"I've been of this team for long time, and what he said couldn't be further from the truth." - Robert Thomas
Berube has always had a short fuse from when he was a player to now as a coach. Those comments shouldn't of been said especially infront of the media but personally I think Berube knows with the Blues underachieving this season his job is in jeopardy and he's taking it out on his players.
