There's definitely some top choices for teams looking to improve their blue line ahead of the NHL's trade deadline with names like Erik Karlsson, Jakob Chychrun, John Klingberg, and Vladislav Gavrikov all expected to be moved by March 3rd.
Well it looks like we won't have to wait much longer for a Vladislav Gavrikov trade. The popular website the Hockey feed would reveal that the Blue Jackets' defenceman is set to be traded, to what looks to be the Boston Bruins!
The trade is not a done deal yet, but both teams are working out the details. If or when this trade does come to fruition, it'll mean the NHL's top team just got even better heading into the playoffs.
The Boston Bruins haven't won the Stanley Cup since 2011, but have made it to the finals twice since, coming up short both times. But this might be a better Bruins team then even the Stanley Cup team of 2011.
