Canucks show interest for a young Islanders prospect
The Islanders have sent multiples scouts at the last few Canucks games, that's no news, they've already shown their interest for top centerman Bo Horvat.
An intriguing statement was made from an insider stating that the Canucks were definitely interested in the young Aatu Raty.
Raty is a former 2nd round pick from the 2021 Draft. He's a big 6'2' and 187 pounds winger with tremendous skills. He's put up 11 points in 21 games in the AHL so far.
That could be a good start if the Islanders are meant to pursue Bo Horvat. Surely they would need to add more to acquire the Canucks' captain.
