It's clear and well-known across the NHL that Patrik Allvin and his crew are searching to add a centerman under 25, that could be placed in the line-up right away.
With the collegiate season soon coming to an end, the NHL will be flooded by unsigned NCAA prospects and the Canucks will have an opportunity to add to their team's young core. Rick Dhaliwal made a statement in that regard suggesting that the Canucks had demonstrated their interest in Western Michigan centerman, Max Sasson.
Sasson is a 22-year-old centerman, stands at 6'1'', and weighs 181 pounds is expected to make the jump to the NHL only two years into his collegiate career. The forward is considered to be a late-bloomer since he exploded offensively over the last three years, he managed an impressive 39 points in 34 games this season.
The Canucks will have to convince the centerman that they are the top landing spot for his development, can they pull it off?
