LATEST | Canucks make an announcement regarding Aatu Raty
In light of their building blue program, the Canucks highlighted another of their prospects. The 20-year-old, Aatu Raty, who was one of the pieces the Canucks fetched in return of their latest captain, Bo Horvat.
The prospect was seen as a top5 pick prior to his draft year (2021), but weak performances in his draft stock led to Raty falling all the way down to the end of the 2nd round.
Chris Higgins, assistant director of the Canucks' player development, narrated the prospect's presentation:
«Aatu's a competitor.»
This edition of Building Blue focuses on 20 year old, Aatu Räty. The 2nd round pick from 2021 is looking to ramp up his game this off-season.
The Fin may be exactly what the Canucks need as their 3rd line centerman. He did quite well in his first North American Season managing 27 points in 52 AHL games. He'll definitely be one player to keep a close eye on as next year will be determinant for his NHL future.
