LATEST | Rick Tocchet furnishes update on Pius Suter's injury
The Canucks have lost two straight games after dropping Saturday's matchup with the Seattle Kraken, and have noticed the absence of Pius Suter.
The forward, in his first season with the Canucks, hasn't played since Sunday with an undisclosed injury.
Head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters Suter had come into his own lately, able to help settle the team down.
He's the type of guy where there's two or three shifts where we're getting out of whack... he can kind of settle us down,
Tocchet said.
Suter practiced with the team at UBC on Tuesday but Tocchet said whatever is nagging him was reaggravated later that night.
The Canucks coach said he's day to day and will hopefully be back for one of the next few games, not counting out an imminent return.
Suter has scored 4 goals in 15 games this season, scoring 3 in his last 5 appearances.
