Mike McKenna comments on Miller's tantrum against Delia
J.T. Miller's tantrum at Collin Delia yesterday left everyone breathless and the comments regarding his reaction are coming from everywhere and no one's keen on it.
Here's a reminder of last night's events:
Here are McKenna's views on the events, since hes been in Delia's shoes previously as a 3rd string netminder:
"It's one of the most disrespectful things I've seen a player do to a teammate in quite some time. And Miller is completely in the wrong."
According to McKenna, Delia did his job right since no call from the bench had been made and McKenna even explains what happens and how Miller is in the wrong:
"You know when Delia is supposed to get off the ice? When Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau says so. And if you go back and watch the video again, Boudreau isn't waving Delia to the bench. In fact, not one member of his staff is even looking at the Vancouver goaltender."
Now that we all know that Boudreau wasn't calling Delia to the bench, do we consider Miller in the wrong? Or is he allowed to call the goaltender to the bench even though the coach has yet to call him?
