The Canucks are expected to be sellers when they get to the deadline, the Blue Jackets were in town and they are expected to adopt the same strategy.

The Canucks are expected to potentially move player such as forward with Bo Horvat, Brock Boeser, Tyler Myers and Luke Schenn, all of whom will gather lots of attention moving forward.

The Blue Jackets on their hand also have Vladislav Gavrikov, who's a highly touted defenseman on the market.

Harman Dayal, from The Athletic, reported major names that were in attendance. The Wild's senior advisor Ray Shero and Maple Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas himself:

«Notable attendees at tonight's #Canucks game

Leafs GM, Kyle Dubas, Leafs director of player personnel, Scott Morrison.

Minnesota Wild senior advisor, Ray Shero.

Oilers AGM, Brad Holland. Scouts from COL, WPG, OTT that we don't normally see also in attendance.»

Could the Canucks find a potential match which either one of those teams? Horvat has been linked already to the Avs, Boeser to the Wild. We're now five weeks away from the deadline, are we having a trade announcement soon?
