Two major announcements next week coming from the Canucks?
The Canucks have been making headlines for various reasons since the beginning of the season and they've set themselves to light up the talks next week.
Live on Canucks Central, Satiar Shah, stated that the talks had picked up on the Canucks captain Bo Horvat and that we should not be surprised to see a trade as soon as next week.
"Talk on Horvat has picked up to the it wouldn't be a surprise to me if he ends up being traded next week."
Bo Horvat is currently the team's goal scoring leader, but the with the direction the Canucks are taking and the price tag coming with Bo Horvat it seems inevitable for the two parties to part ways. Canucks want to retool and Horvat's return will definitely fetch something worth building on.
Up to this point, it's hard to pin down one team that could've potentially won the derby. From the info the insiders have thrown around, expect the Bruins, the Hurricanes, the Devils and even the Kraken to be in the running.
When you add on it the fact that Rick Tocchet is presumed to be taking over the reigns of the coaching staff Monday, it would be quite the week for the Canucks.
Canucks making a change for a third coach in the last two seasons and trading away their captain all at the same time, do you like the direction the Canucks are taking?
