When the Canucks won the Kuzmenko derby, their truly wasn't any expectation out of it. He'd shown great things in the KHL, but lots of question marks rouse suspicion on his ability to transfer his game to North-America straight away.
Obviously, it's all history as the Russian not only merged his game to North-America without issues, but he did it in fashion. Though Tocchet gave an interesting interview today and revealed that Kuzmenko's true apport goes way beyond the numbers he's putting on the board.
Kuzmenko is on pace to establish a new mark amongst first year players for the Canucks. He just inked a two-year extension kicking in on July 1st, will the Canucks look into the possibility of signing him to a larger deal afterwards?
