Johnny Gaudreau's Wife Meredith Announces Life Changing News

Johnny Gaudreau's wife, Meredith has announced the birth of their third child in a post on social media this morning.
Fans across the National Hockey League continue to mourn the passing of Johnny Gaudreau, who tragically lost his life a little over seven months ago at the age of 31.
During the funeral for Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau in early September, his wife Meredith gave a eulogy where she announced that she was pregnant with their third child.
"We're actually a family of five," she said. "I'm in my ninth week of pregnancy with our third baby. A total surprise, but, again, Johnny's beaming and so excited. I was so nervous because, again, this was a total surprise, but his reaction was just immediately kissing me and hugging me even though I was driving the car."
Meredith Gaudreau announces birth of third child
In a post on Instagram on Monday, Meredith Gaudreau announced the birth of their third child, a boy, who was born on Tuesday, April 1st and paid tribute to her late husband with their son's middle name.
Along with paying tribute to Johnny, Meredith Gaudreau shared that their newborn son weighed the same and is the exact same length as her late husband was when he was born.
"I had our third baby! 4/1/25. Another baby boy. 🥹💙

The Columbus Blue Jackets also celebrated the birth of Carter Michael Gaudreau with a social media post of their own, welcoming him to the CBJ family.
