The Hockey world got stuck in a wild theory regarding Corey Perry's sudden suspension from the Blackhawks.
Reports had been going around that during the Hawks' last mother's weekend, the veteran Corey Perry had gotten involved with the young star's mother.
A renowned journalist covering the Blackhawks, Charlie Roumeliotis, came up and confirmed that the reports were entirely made-up:
''The Corey Perry rumor that's going around is 100% false. Carry on, everyone. #Blackhawks''
Perry will be away from the Hawks for the foreseeable future as determined by the Hawks' GM. It therefore confirms that this was not the reason for his suspension.
