A new landing spot has emerged for Vancouver Canucks pending unrestricted free agent forward Brock Boeser, with July 1st less than two weeks away.

12 days from now, the National Hockey League's free agency window will open and it's going to lead to a pretty interesting few days as to where some big names such as Mitch Marner, Sam Bennett and Brad Marchand may end up signing.
The Vancouver Canucks have a couple of well-known free agents of their own, including forward Brock Boeser, who is reportedly a 'longshot' to re-sign with the club and is expected to hit the open market on Canada Day.
"Boeser, 28, is a 'longshot' to re-sign with the Canucks, one team source confirmed to me this week. He is prepared to move on to the next chapter of his career and will attract significant interest this summer, especially given the limited market." David Pagnotta said in late May.

New team emerges as potential landing spot for Vancouver Canucks' Brock Boeser

There certainly won't be a shortage of teams that'll show interest in Brock Boeser on July 1st, with teams like the Minnesota Wild, Carolina Hurricanes and even the Boston Bruins being potential fits for the 28-year-old winger.
In an article on The Province recently, Ben Kuzma believes that another Original Six franchise could enter the mix for Brock Boeser this summer, that being the New York Rangers.
Kuzma points to chemistry between Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller, as well as hole left by Chris Kreider, who was traded to Anaheim last week, as reasons why he could be a fit in The Big Apple.
"It could be a good option and good fit with J.T., the Rangers did free up some money, but have players to sign." A source told Ben Kuzma & Postmedia.

Boeser, a native of Burnsville, Minnesota, is coming off his third consecutive 50+ point campaign and even though he saw a drop off in production, he was still quite reliable for the Vancouver Canucks in a second line role.
In 75 games this past season, Boeser had 50 points (25 goals, 25 assists), 16 penalty minutes and was a minus-15.
According to PuckPedia, the New York Rangers have $13.9 million available in cap space this summer, but have some notable names to re-sign including defenseman K'Andre Miller.
