The Canucks were really high on Tom Willander, and when they were given the opportunity to draft the Swede with the 11th pick, there wasn't anybody else on their list.
Some analysts called it a ‘reach'. Some called it a brilliant move as he fits the mould for the perfect player to play beside Quinn Hughes. At the moment, only time will tell whether or not he was the right man for the Canucks.
