A dangerous hit occured during last night's tilt between the Flyers and the Devils. The youngest Hughes brother, Luke, was the victim of a dangerous hit that resulted in a major penalty.
The line judge was late blowing the whistle on an icing call and Garnet Hathaway was chasing the puck hard before he threw a dangerous hit on Luke Hughes:
The incident obviously caused a stir and Jack Hughes was furious on the bench and didn't hesitate to let the official know how he felt.
In his rookie season, Luke is out showing that he is just as good as his brothers. The rookie Defenseman has managed 14 points in 21 outings thus far.
