It was found that a lot of issues between Tocchet and Canucks President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford revolved around how the team treated EP40, especially after he was awarded a massive contract.
At the end of the day, Tocchet is more accomplished then many coaches in the league, and if he feels that Michkov needs to add or take away from his game, he has the right to do so.
