When a player takes a leave of absence from the team, there are a plethora reasons for why that may be, but it is not our job as reporters or fans to try and connect all of the dots.
Sometimes, and in most cases, it is best for us to allow the player and their families to have their privacy during these times.
When Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin made the announcement this morning that Miller would be stepping away for personal reasons, his wife made the right choice to deactivate her social media, specifically, her Instagram.
It was first reported by Chris Johnston.
Fans believed that because she shut it down, the leave of absence was related to marital issues, but that couldn't be further from the case.
We assume she realized that Vancouver Canucks fans are very passionate and want answers, and she felt it was best that she take that option away from them by going radio silent.
Everyone here at Canucks Daily want to urge everyone to give J.T. Miller and his family their privacy as we do not know what the reason for his absence is.
Let us know in the poll down below what you think & stay tuned to Canucks Daily for the latest news and updates from around the NHL and of course on your favourite Vancouver Canucks.
