LATEST | Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko makes franchise history
The Vancouver Canucks began their five-game road trip on Tuesday with a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes for their 34th win of the 2023-24 season.
With the victory, Vancouver Canucks goaltender Thatcher Demko has tied Dan Cloutier for the longest win streak in franchise history with his ninth straight win.

Demko made 22 saves on 24 shots in the win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday night to continue his impressive season thus far. In 36 games this season, the San Diego native has a record of 27-8-1 with a 2.43 goals against average, a .920 save percentage and five shutouts.
Demko will have an opportunity to take sole possession of the franchise record for longest win streak when the Canucks take on the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Thursday night. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet across Canada.
