A new report by trusted NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has doubled down on the fact that the Vancouver Canucks are putting feelings out in the NHL by shopping two fan favorite forwards.

Now a week into NHL free agency, the Vancouver Canucks have been able to make some big splashes, most notably e-signing 40-goal scoring veteran winger Brock Boeser to a seven-year deal, $50.75 million ($7.25 million AAV) deal.
"Brock Boeser signs a seven-year extension with #canucks carrying a $7.25M AAV" Johnston said.

Although some good additions have been made, the Canucks also felt some loss as breakout star Pius Suter left Vancouver to sign with the St. Louis Blues on a two-year contract worth $8 million.
"Hearing Pius Suter is joining #stlblues: 2 years x $4 million." Seravalli said.
When the Canucks were looking to try and sign Suter before he left, it was reported general manager Patrik Allvin was putting feelers out there for Dakota Joshua and Teddy Blueger to make space on their payroll.
"They called [Suter's] agent yesterday, and they told him they are still interested, the door is still open. They've gotta move either Joshua or Blueger to get back in on Suter. Suter is going to sign today or tomorrow."

Now that Suter is no longer in the picture, it appears Vancouver is not done shopping both Joshua and Blueger as reported by NHL insider Elliotte Friedman early on Monday.

It is surprising that the Canucks would still be "tinkering" with the idea to move on from them as the team are already fairly thin upfront, especially their top-6 forward group.
Only one week into free-agency, there is a ton of time to see what will happen moving forward, but hopfully they are here to stay.
