With just a couple of weeks until training camp starts, newly acquired winger Evander Kane gave his highly anticipated interview to the media after his first informal skate with the Vancouver Canucks.
After missing the 2024-25 Stanley Cup Playoff's, Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin was clear in his end of season press conference that his priorities were to find a free-agent to fill those holes on the second line.
Unfortunately for the Canucks and their fan base, they have been ultimately unsuccessful in acquiring some big names.

With the offseason winding down, players and coaches are slowly getting back in the swing of things, and that goes for controversial winger Evander Kane, who appeared for the first time after his debut informal skate with his hometown team.
In his highly anticipated interview, he spoke about how easy the transition has been due to having his hometown friends and family being apart of his life while playing for the city he grew up.
«Knowing the city and having lots of friends and family here makes the transition to the team a lot easier. That way you can just focus on the hockey."
