The last 24-hours for JT Miller and the Vancouver Canucks have been a major whirlwind as a potential trade with
the New York Rangers fell through, indicating the team is working hard to make a move.
It is not confirmed if it is regarding Miller, but the same announcement carried more information, also noting that there may be some serious tampering allegations towards some clubs who are illegally contacting Vancouver Canucks players.
No Trade Clause? No Problem, NHL Clubs Have Permission to Contact JT Miller
«J.T. Miller, I expect who's going to play tonight unless something changes at the last minute. But there was a time over the last 24 hours where J.T. Miller was not going to play.
He was going to be held out of the lineup because talks were progressing on a trade. I believe that team to be the New York Rangers.
With the Alleged tampering warning sent out, Elliotte Friedman also heard that general manager Patrik Allvin has given permission to some select teams to contact Miller.
Elliotte reporting Canucks sent teams a note warning them not to tamper with their players.
Elliotte believes Canucks have now given some teams permission to talk to Miller.
With J.T. Miller having a no trade clause, allowing other teams to contact Miller and his agent with out going through Allvin is a prime way to accelerate the process of moving him out of Vancouver, and it almost guarantees at some point that his clause will be waived sooner rather than later.
